Janatha Garage starring Jr.NTR and Samantha in lead roles is set to hit the screens on September 1st. The movie is being directed by Koratala Siva and is being bankrolled by Mythri Movies.
The movie was initially scheduled to release over the independence day weekend but due to a delay in the post production, the movie was postponed to September 2nd initially.
However with some trade unions calling for a nationwide bandh on Septemeber 2nd the makers have decided to prepone the release by a day to avoid any effect on the Boxoffice opening.
The movie has an extended weekend thanks to the Ganesh Chathurthi falling on Monday. The movie has a decent hype thanks to an impressive trailer and introduction posters.
The movie’s distribution rights were sold for a very high figure and is NTR’s biggest pre-release returns. Janatha Garage also stars Monanlal who is a big star in Malyalam, so the collections from there will also contribute to the highest ever opening for NTR.
