The Shooting of Akhil Akkineni and Venky Atluri’s Mr. Majnu is currently progressing at a brisk pace. Recently released Teaser has created some good buzz around the movie.
Here is an interesting update on Mr. Majnu Release Date. The makers have officially confirmed that the movie will hit screens Worldwide on 25th January.
Nidhi Aggerwal will play the female lead in this romantic drama with Thaman scoring the music. Thaman and Venky Atluri’s combination earlier delivered blockbuster music album Tholiprema and is all set to give us one more good musical album.
Akhil’s last 2 movies were not successful at the box-office. Though ‘Hello’ directed by Vikram K Kumar received good positive buzz, it failed to generate good revenue at the box-office.
The movie clashed with MCA at that time and Trade analysts felt that a solo release for Hello would have made a big difference at the ticket window.
This time, we have big movies Vinya Vidheya Rama, Petta and NTR Kathanayakudu for Sankranthi. Let’s hope Majnu will withstand the competition and give much-needed box-office success to Akhil this time.
