Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa which went onto the floors at the end of last year is getting ready for the next leg of the shoot.
The highly anticipated period drama which is being directed by Surender Reddy is based on the life of Freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
The movie’s next schedule will start on June 5th with a majority of the cast joining the shoot. The makers have planned to shoot some major action sequences in this schedule and have erected a huge set.
Sye Raa’s shooting has been progressing slowly and around 25 percent of the talkie part has been shot so far. The movie was initially delayed due to sudden exit of cinematographer Ravi Varman, but with a diverse cast involving Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanatara, Tamannaah and Sudeep their work commitments are also adding to the delay.
The movie was initially planned to hit the screens on Sankranthi, but with the delays and huge post-production activities, it will be eyeing a mid-summer release if everything goes to plan.
Sye Raa which stars Chiranjeevi and Nayanatara in lead roles is being produced on a huge budget of around 200 cr by Ram Charan on his Konidela Production Company banner.
