2.0 which released a few weeks back has done some decent business at the Boxoffice, although the local markets have underperformed.
The Rajinikanth starrer is going great guns in the North, while the South markets haven’t really matched the trade expectations. 2.0 has collected around 310cr+ Share so far WorldWide(WW).
Coming to North America, it has had a solid trend so far after starting off very slowly. 2.0 USA Collections have now crossed the $5.4M mark which translates to around 24cr+ Share.
The movie is among the All Time Top-3 South Indian Grossers in USA, only behind the Baahubali films. It is now heading for a $5.5M+ finish, which is decent considering the start which it had.
The makers have gone for an own release with the help of some local distributors, so the performance cannot really be judged but considering the scale of the movie more was expected from 2.0.
