Chiranjeevi has been eagerly waiting for a solid hit since his comeback. The actor has finally scored a superhit this year with Waltair Veerayya which is directed by Bobby Kolli. The film is doing well at AP/TS and US boxoffice. We all know that he will next be working with Meher Ramesh for Bhola Shankar.
Bhola Shankar has already completed 30% of the shoot. The makers have today resumed the shoot at Peddamma temple, Hyderabad. The film is currently scheduled to hit the screens on April 14th but there is a chance that it will be pushed to a later date. The movie is an official remake of Tamil superhit film Vedalam starring Ajith as the main lead.
Directed by Meher Ramesh, Bhola Shankar is being produced by AK Entertainments. Tamannah is playing the female lead while Keerthy Suresh will be seen in sister role to Chiranjeevi. Initially Sai Pallavi was considered for the sister role but she reportedly rejected due to creative differences. Mahati Swara Sagar is set to compose the music. The film’s OTT rights were bagged by Netflix.
Meher Ramesh was away from films for almost 10 years now after the disaster of Shadow. It remains to be seen whether he will score big this time with the action entertainer.
