Allu Arjun has been away from things for quite some time now. The actor hasn’t had a release since ‘Naa Peru Surya’ came out in May 2018 and to add to this, he hasn’t been at work either since the release.
But things aren’t as dull as they seem for him. During the brief sabbatical of sorts, Bunny met a bunch of filmmakers, heard their ideas and has even given nods to some of them.
The filmmakers too in the context are very big names. First on the list is A.R. Murugadoss whose script has impressed Bunny a lot and things would begin by the end of the year. Geetha Arts, Allu Aravind’s company, is producing it.
Vikram K. Kumar, the man behind ‘Manam’ and ’24’, had met Arjun quite a few times. Though the two were keen on working together, nothing materialized.
But now, a new narration from the filmmaker has clicked and the production will begin early next year. Finally, a debutant filmmaker too has received a yes from the actor and the pre-production has already begun.
Bunny has also decided to turn producer during his break. A few projects in mind are in the discussion stage and his close associate and friend Sukumar could well be a writer on one of those.
Having taken ample time off, Bunny has decided to work throughout the next two years to complete all the projects. He is currently working with Trivikram opposite Kiara Advani.
