Anushka Shetty‘s Arundhati is a big path breaking film in her career and in Telugu Cinema too. Here is an update on Arundhati remake.
The movie which released in 2009 turned out to be a grand success at the box office breaking many records. The film has took home multiple Nandi awards in different categories along with Filmfare awards to the actress and supporting actor Sonu Sood.
There have been reports of a Bollywood remake since many days and we might now be closer than ever to an announcement. Ace producer Allu Aravind has recently acquired the Hindi remake rights of the film. He will be producing the film jointly with Madhu Mantenna.
Reports suggest that makers are considering Deepika Padukone for the lead role. Director and other cast and crew details are yet to be finalized. We will have to wait for few more days to get more details of the film.
Arundhati was directed by late director Kodi Ramakrishna and bankrolled by Shyam Prasad Reddy under Mallemala Entertainments Banner.
