Awe is continuing to do well and has emerged a Super Hit at the Boxoffice in USA collecting $ 803,664[₹5.21 Cr] in 11 days which is huge for the low-budgeted affair.
This is a path-breaking attempt in Telugu cinema as it doesn’t have a big hero appearance and the marketing budget was almost non-existent. The producers let the content do the talking and that strategy kind of succeeded.
Prasanth Varma who earlier directed an ad feature on Sun Risers Hyderabad delivered a brilliant film as debut director. The Worldwide theatricals were sold for around 6cr and the Share from USA alone will be around 2.7cr and buzz is that the North American distributor recovered the investment within 6days.
However, it’s kind of disappointing that it will not reach the much-coveted $1 Million mark at the boxoffice in USA, but its still a SUPER HIT for everyone involved.
