We all know that Balakrishna is currently busy with Boyapati Srinu directorial Akhanda. The film’s shooting is currently halted due to COVID 19 second wave but the actor is reportedly keen on resuming the shoot from May 13.

Gopichand Malineni has scored a solid hit this year with Krack starring Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. According to reports, the director is keen on roping in Shruthi Haasan for the Balakrishna film too.
The discussions are currently ongoing and it remains to be seen whether the actress will give a nod for the project. She is currently busy with Prabhas starrer Salaar.
Gopichand has earlier worked with Shruthi Haasan for two films Balupu and Krack. Both the films have garnered positive responses from the audience and it seems the director would like to cast her again to bring in some lady luck.
