It is already known that Nandamuri Balakrishna will join hands with ace director VV.Vinayak for an action entertainer to be produced by C Kalyan.
The producer announced the news a few weeks back in a media chit-chat and revealed that an official announcement will be made soon.
However, we now have more details on the project after Kalyan confirmed at ‘Jai Simha’ 100-days function that the project will go on floors in May and tentatively scheduled for release Sankranthi next year.
There are rumours that the movie is an official remake of Kannada blockbuster ‘Mufti’ starring Shiva Rajkumar however, there hasn’t been any confirmation on this.
Balakrishna and Vinayak will be reuniting after 16 years, post their smash hit ‘Chennakeshava Reddy’ which released back in 2002.
VV.Vinayak has been struggling off late and his last release ‘Intelligent’ was a disaster of epic proportions and that movie was also produced by C.Kalyan. However, it hasn’t been that bad of a year for the producer who scored a surprising Sankranti HIT with ‘Jai Simha’ starring Balakrishna.
It seems C.Kalyan wants to continue his lucky charm by bringing the movie on Sankranti. However, it won’t be easy as they will again have to face a possible face-off with Mega family as Boyapati’s action entertainer with Charan is also scheduled for a Sankranthi release.
Let’s hope we will get another ‘Chennakeshava Reddy’ from this duo!
