The first look of Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni has been released and the teaser of the movie will be launched today on the eve of Balakrishna’ birthday.
The film depicts the era of Satavahana empire king Gautamiputra Satakarni who ruled from Amaravathi. The movie completed it’s first schedule in Morocco and also shot for few days in Hyderabad, before Balayya left for some charity trip to USA.
The shoot will resume at the huge sets erected at Chilkur in few days after Balakrishna returns from North America.
The movie is directed by National award winning film-maker Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi popularly known as Krish the man who won the National award for the film ‘Kanche’. Devi Sri Prasad Composed the music. Shriya Saran plays queen opposite Balakrishna.
Notably, The makers of the movie first had talks with Nayanathara but she could not set aside dates for the project as she was preoccupied with the other projects.
