Sukumar directorial Pushpa has become the talk of the town after news came out that it will release in two parts. One of the producers Y Ravi Shankar has confirmed the news in an interview. Now the latest news is that a big-budget has been allocated to wrap up two instalments.
Initially, makers have allotted 160cr to the action-thriller. However, with Pushpa now releasing in two parts, the budget has reportedly been revised to a whopping 250cr which is the highest ever for an Allu Arjun film.
According to reports, 40 days of shoot is pending for the first part and 10% of the shoot is completed for the second instalment. The makers are reportedly planning to end the first part on a big note similar to Baahubali (Why Kattappa killed Baahubali).
Reports suggest that the makers are in plans to release the first instalment during Dussehra and the second instalment in summer 2022. The film features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil will play the antagonist role. Devi Sri Prasad will score the music.
