Geetha Govindam, the 2018 film that starred Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna went on to become a huge success and a landmark film. If latest reportsĀ are to be believed, will get a Hindi remake soon
If all goes well, the film will be remade in Hindi with Ishan Khattar in the lead. Ishan, who debuted with another remake in Dhadak (Sairat’s remake) opposite Jhanvi Kapoor, will be an interesting choice for the role.
The news on who’s playing opposite him is still kept a secret. The story offers equally meaty roles for both the leads and it would be interesting to see who plays Rashmika in the Hindi counterpart.
The Hindi remake, according to the rumor mill, has been picked by a major production house who are yet to make any official announcements.
The director of the new version too isn’t known at the moment, nor the shooting dates. It is certainly worth the wait to hear more from the right sources on this project.
The romantic-drama in Telugu, written and directed by Parasuram, saw Vijay and Rashmika shine throughout and prove her worth. The film was produced by Geetha Arts.
