KatamaRayudu has performed very well at the Boxoffice on its opening day in AP/TG crossing the 20cr mark in the Telugu states.
The Pawan Kalyan starrer just fell short of the opening day record of Khaidi No.150 in AP/TG. The movie was expected to set a 1st day record but slowed down in the evening, ultimately recording the 2nd highest opening.
The movie was sold for around 63cr in AP/TG and the start will mean it has a good chance of becoming a HIT, but with Average WOM it might struggle to do that. Here is the area wise break-up.

The movie set opening records in 4 circuits of Andhra Pradesh, but Ceeded and Nizam weren’t upto the mark. Hopefully, the movie holds up well on Saturday and that’s when we will know where the movie is headed.
