Filmmaker Krish has been an incredibly busy man in the recent years. He has been churning out big production movies in both Telugu & Hindi and doesn’t seem to stop anytime soon.
Having joined the league of top directors in Telugu, Krish’s paycheck now reads pretty much the same as the massy filmmakers. The NTR Biopic movies have fetched Krish a whopping amount of 10 crores.
Although there’s still a considerable pay gap between S.S. Rajamouli (Rs. 30 Cr. and more) and the rest of Tollywood directors, Krish’s growth in the department is noteworthy.
Not only did Krish start out making small-budgeted films in Telugu, but he also ventured in other languages with his experiments. Kanche won the National Award in 2016.
With NBK films recognizing Krish’s true contribution to the biopic films and offering the grand amount, it shows that Tollywood is willing to spend where the need is.
One has often heard of filmmakers such as Shankar who have driven every project and also get remunerated similarly. Krish’s success story only brings in more confidence among filmmakers to dream big.
Krish’s co-directorial venture with Kangana Ranaut, Manikarnika, is all set to release on the 25th of January. The NTR two-part series, on the other hand, will release on 9th of January and 7th of February respectively.
