‘Maharshi’, one of the biggest releases this year, is currently in production and will see it’s final schedule concluded soon. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the film has a social backdrop with its lead character going on a journey of sorts.
The lead actor, of course, is Mahesh Babu who has been quite involved in the overall progress of the project. Mahesh has taken it upon himself to ensure that most things fall in place so that there’s no delay in achieving the output.
Recently reports have stated that the makers were contemplating to postpone the movie. However, Mahesh, according to sources, has pushed the team hard to wrap things up soon enough so that the film can be released on April 25th.
Mahesh has in fact set a deadline so that there’s good pressure created to finish things off. The team have been up to the task and the producers have officially confirmed the release date today. This would be Mahesh’s 25th film as an actor, a landmark achievement indeed.
Soon after this project, Mahesh was supposed to begin his 26th venture with Sukumar and begin work from July. The project, however, faces delay as the scripting is yet to be completed and will need at least six more months.
Pooja Hegde stars opposite Mahesh in Maharshi with Allari Naresh playing an important part and ace composer Devi Sri Prasad scoring the music.
