Mahesh Babu has been in the news quite lately and for the right reasons. The actor has a list of projects that are either underway or about to begin soon.
Mahesh is currently busy finishing Vamsi Paidipally’s Maharshi, which is all set to release in April. Soon after, as we had announced earlier, the star will be in Sukumar’s next.
Needless to say, a movie with this combination is of great interest with the two having already made the critically acclaimed ‘1: Nenokkadine’ in 2014. Sukumar’s previous venture ‘Rangasthalam’ was received incredibly well with the movie becoming the second highest grosser in Telugu and also being appreciated by the critics.
The director had announced the Mahesh project right after Rangasthalam but things could not materialize. The actor, apparently, wasn’t too excited by the narrations he got from Sukumar. Sukumar took this positively and went back to write something very intriguing.
According to the sources, the new film would revolve around Red Sanders and the smugglers involved in the business. Set in Seshachalam Hills, the film would show Mahesh in a whole new light.
It would be interesting to see Mahesh’s role in the film and how everything around turns out. The film, a high budget action-thriller, would go on floors May onwards and is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
