Mr. Majnu had a below-par second day at the Boxoffice collecting around 2.6cr share in the Telugu States on Saturday taking its 2-day total to 5.7cr.
The movie is facing some tough competition from holdover release F2, which is still doing excellent business throughout. With Saturday being a Holiday, it was expected that this Akhil starrer will do well.
However, it didn’t show any jump and fell behind F2 in terms of collections which is a big blow considering that F2 is in its 15th day.
The WOM is mediocre and the trend isn’t quite there, as it should have put up a big number on Saturday which didn’t happen. The AP/TS theatricals are valued at 18+cr and the weekend is expected to finish at around 8cr. Monday will show where this is heading.
