Mr. Majnu had a poor Sunday at the Boxoffice collecting around 1.6cr share in the Telugu States taking its first weekend total to around 7.4cr.
The movie is facing some tough competition from holdover release F2, which is still doing excellent business throughout. Mr. Majnu opened decently, but couldn’t really grow on Saturday despite it being a National Holiday.
The same continued on Sunday, as the movie dropped almost 40% from the previous day and behind F2 for the second straight day in terms of collections.
The WOM is mediocre and the trend isn’t quite there, as it dropped continuously for 3 straight days. It is now likely to drop to low levels on Monday. The AP/TS theatricals are valued at 18+cr and the week should finish at around 9cr.
