Actor Nani has moved up the ranks in the industry owing to his talent and experiments. He has also proven many times that it takes a bit of versatility and risk to stay relevant in a tough business such as this.
A bankable star in every right, he has also taken up a few slightly more commercially viable projects over the years and has had great luck. He will soon be seen as a cricketer in the intense love story ‘Jersey’.
Continuing the trend that he set for himself, Nani will now be seen in a negative role in Mohankrishna Indraganti’s next. Indraganti and Nani started their respective careers together with ‘Ashta Chamma’ and came back years later to work together for ‘Gentleman’.
The new project, supposedly, is a neo-noir thriller and also a multi-starrer with Nani playing the antagonist’s part. The other half of the leading cast is yet to be finalized but reports suggest that director Indraganti is keen on casting his ‘Sammohanam’ hero Sudheer Babu.
With the interesting casting and genre choices, the film is already creating a positive buzz for itself. An official announcement is around the corner and will include more information.
