Officer has taken a Disastrous opening at the Boxoffice on its first day collecting just 45 lakhs in the Telugu states.
The movie brought together the Blockbuster duo of Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma who delivered ‘Shiva’ back in the 1990’s. However, a lot of things have changed since and RGV is no more a director that he was back then and nowadays audience get turned off by seeing his name.
The Nagarjuna starrer lacked any pre-release buzz and even the posters/teasers released by the makers met with poor response. However, no one could have really expected the collections to be this bad and it seems the movie will end up as one of the biggest Disasters ever in Telugu Film Industry.

The fate of the movie is already sealed on Day1 itself and everyone involved with the movie would be staring at huge losses. The movie might not even collect 1cr in the full run which is kind of shocking and the interesting part is dubbing movie ‘Abhimanyudu’ starring Vishal collected almost double than Officer.
