Officer has turned out to be one of the biggest disasters ever in Telugu film industry collecting just 1cr share in its full run.
The movie failed to generate any interest prior to its release and didn’t really find any buyers until Nagarjuna intervened to get it into theaters.
However, the promotional content released by the makers couldn’t get the audience to the theaters and eventually the movie took a horrible opening on its opening day. It was registering deficits at a majority of the centers on its second day.
It didn’t even recover the release expenses of the buyers and it’s likely that any movie will find it difficult to beat Officer’s record in terms of losses.

The movie was virtually out of theaters on its second-day itself and will give the distributors many sleepless nights. It remains to be seen if Nagarjuna or the makers come forward and take some responsibility and help the buyers.
