Although PK hasn’t commented on this news yet, Dil Raju has confirmed that he will be bankrolling this social thriller along with Boney Kapoor. Earlier Harish Shankar has narrated their storylines to PK but he wasn’t impressed as he was looking for a script with social elements that can develop a positive image for him.
And the power star has finally decided to return to the silver screen with Pink remake. The buzz is that Pawan Kalyan remuneration for Pink Remake is around 50cr as Dil Raju goes all out to produce PK’s comeback film.
There is no doubt that Dil Raju has been a successful producer in Tollywood and has worked with many big actors but has never offered that much remuneration. It seems like a crazy rumour but there is a logic on why Dil Raju is parting with that big a fees.
Katamarayudu star will be playing a lawyer role in the film and most of the scenes will be in a courtroom that requires less budget compared to other commercial movies. As per the story, there is no scope for a heroine for PK.
Hence the overall budget will not exceed 70 Cr even after giving such a huge remuneration to PK. As it is a comeback film for PK there will be huge openings for the film despite the talks during its first weekend.
PSPK 26 is being directed by Venu Sriram and the makers are planning for a Dussehra release.
