Rajamouli is currently busy with his prestigious film RRR which stars Ram Charan and NTR in lead roles. The film is a fictional story that dwells the lives of the freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju when they were in exile.
The shooting of the film is halted due to the COVID19 lockdown. Rajamouli has no plans now to resume the shoot until the situation normalizes.
It was announced by Rajamouli himself that his next film post RRR will be with Mahesh Babu. There are huge expectations on this film ever since the announcement is made.
The Baahubali director has recently updated in an interview that he is in story sittings with his father and writer Vijayendra prasad to lock the script for Mahesh Babu’s film.
The film is expected to go on floors by end of 2021 or early 2022 depending on RRR release. It will be bankrolled by ace producer KL Narayana under Durga Arts Banner. It remains to be seen what kind of subject Rajamouli picks for Mahesh.
