Rangasthalam has been on a dream run at the Boxoffice, breaking all the Non-Baahubali records in the Telugu states. However, it is not done yet.
Over the years many Boxoffice records have been broken thanks to the increase in ticket prices and the release size of the movies, but one record stayed unbroken over the past 12 years.
Mahesh’s Babu ‘Pokiri’ which was an Industry Hit at the time of its release and also held the single theater record in Nizam. The movie collected 1.614 crores in Sudharshan 35 mm theatre at RTC X Roads in a 189-day run.
Now, Rangasthalam has finally broken that record by collecting 1.615 crores at the same theater in 89 days.

Nowadays most of the movies are moving out of theaters within few weeks of its release and it is quite an achievement to stay in theaters this long. It would be a while before this record could be broken.
Rangasthalam stars Ram Charan, Samantha and Aadhi in lead roles. The movie is directed by Sukumar with music from Devi Sri Prasad and produced by Naveen Yerneni on Mythri Movie Makers banner.
