RRR is undoubtedly the most-awaited Tollywood film ever since it has been launched. However, there’s still no clarity on RRR Release Date which is the case with almost every Rajamouli movie.
Even before the start of shoot Rajamouli has announced the cast details and release date as 30 July 2020. But the shooting got delayed due to various reasons and as per the latest buzz, it will be difficult to release the film as on planned date.
Rajamouli is staying silent over RRR Release Date and he has avoided the question in a recent press conference. There are speculations that the movie release has been pushed to 2021 but there is no official announcement yet.
RRR stars NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles. Young Tiger and Mega Power star reprises the characters modeled on freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju respectively in the film. Rajamouli has clearly mentioned that the film is a fictional story that revolves around the said freedom fighter’s lives during their period of exile.
The makers have recently released further cast details. Hollywood actress Olivia Morris has been roped in as female lead Jennifer for NTR and Alia Bhatt as Sita for Ram Charan in the movie.
Ray Stevenson plays as Scott the British Raj while Alison Doody plays the Lady Scott. The film also stars Bollywood famous actor Ajay Devgan in an extended cameo role.
Currently, the film’s shooting is underway in Hyderabad. It remains to be seen how Rajamouli will craft this period film, but he will have a huge weight on his shoulders to match the expectations which are sky-high after the stupendous success of Baahubali series.
The Movie will reportedly be made with a whopping budget of around Rs 350cr. DVV Danayya is bankrolling this big project under DVV Entertainments production with music from M.M Keeravani.
