Saakshyam had a poor first week at the Boxoffice collecting just 9.3cr Share in the Telugu States.
The movie had a below average first weekend and needed strong weekdays to put up a decent first week total. However, the Sriwass directorial totally went down on Monday owing to the poor WOM.
The opening is well below Bellamkonda Srinivas’ previous outing ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ which collected 14cr and went on to finish at 23cr.
Saakshyam did a pre-release business of around 22cr in the Telugu States and the opening week means that the movie will end up as a Disaster at the Boxoffice.

The concept of the movie was well received by the audience but the direction has received a lot of flak. Bellamkonda Srinivas’ will still have to wait for his first HIT.
Saakshyam stars Bellamkonda Srinivas and Pooja Hedge in lead roles and is being directed by Sriwass. Shakthikanth Karthick will be composing the music with Abhishek Nama producing on Abhishek Pictures banner.
