Salaar is an upcoming action-packed film directed by Prashanth Neel, starring Prabhas in the lead role. The movie has generated enormous expectations as it is the director’s immediate project following the blockbuster KGF 2. With the PAN India star’s power-packed performance, the film has the potential to cross the 1000 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
In a recent interview, Kannada actor Devaraj, who is also a part of Salaar, confirmed that the film will have a second installment. He expressed his excitement over playing an essential character, which will have more significance in the sequel. Devaraj will also be seen in part one, sharing screen space with Prabhas, Jagapathi Babu, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in several combination scenes.
This unexpected leak from the veteran actor has only heightened the anticipation of Prabhas’s fans, who are eagerly waiting for the film’s release. Salaar is all set to hit the screens on September 28, 2023.
Prabhas has several other projects in the pipeline, including the much-awaited Adipurush, which is a mythological movie, and Project K, where he will be seen alongside Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in Nag Ashwin’s direction. Project K is scheduled for a Sankranthi release. The Rebel star also has a project with Maruthi and an action entertainer in the direction of Siddharth Anand.
