Sarrainodu starring Allu Arjun which released last month has garnered a good response at the Indian Boxoffice and is racing towards a Super Hit verdict.
However, outside the country it is turning out to be a movie to forget for the distributors. The USA rights of the movie were sold for about 6 crores and the movie has ended it’s theatrical run in the states with a business of around 2.8 crores.
The ROI(Return of Investment) in overseas is less than 50% which eventually means that the Final verdict for the movie will be DISASTER in Overseas.
Overseas was never a money maker for Allu Arjun and couple that with the mass content of Boyapati Srinu, it has been failure. On the flip side, it is still going great guns at the Indian Boxoffice despite the poor reviews, thanks to the content being lapped by the Mass Audience.
The Worldwide share for the movie after 5 weeks is around the 70 crore mark and it is now safe to assume that the movie will end up as a SUPERHIT, when Worldwide collections are taken into account.
UPDATE: The movie released in Kerala as Yodhava last Friday and has garnered good collections over the weekend.
