The highly-anticipated South Indian movie, Suriya42, starring the renowned actor Suriya and directed by Siruthai Siva, is once again making headlines. Bollywood sensation Disha Patani is playing the female lead in this big-budget film that is confirmed to be released in ten different languages. After creating a buzz with pre-released images and sneak peeks, the movie’s makers have officially announced the title of the epic period action movie as “Kanguva”.
The announcement was made alongside a creatively designed poster featuring a majestic eagle in the background. The movie will be released worldwide in early 2024 and a special one-minute animated teaser has already been released, further increasing the excitement around the film.
Produced on a massive scale by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green in association with Vamsi and Pramod of UV Creations, Kanguva has the renowned music composer Devi Sri Prasad on board as the music director. The film, which will be released in 3D format, promises to be a grand cinematic experience, combining stellar performances, breathtaking visuals, and an outstanding musical score.
The Tamil industry believes that this film is an answer to the Tollywood blockbuster Baahubali and the Kannada industry’s KGF, raising expectations for Kanguva even higher. It remains to be seen whether the film will live up to the hype and deliver an epic cinematic experience.
