Tej I Love You has taken a mediocre opening at the Boxoffice on its first day collecting around 2cr Share in the Telugu states.
The opening is one of the lowest for Sai Dharam Tej, even below Intelligent(2.5cr) and Jawaan(3.1cr) both of which turned out to be Disasters.
However, the costs involved are less compared to those movies but it still needs big Saturday and Sunday to have any chance of Breaking Even.
The movie was sold for around 12.5 in the Telugu States and would need a 13cr+ to turn in a profit and that is still far away considering that the WOM is mixed.

Sai Dharam Tej’s market has continued to dwindle post the success of Supreme and unless he takes proper care in choosing scripts, he will struggle to pull fans to theaters.
