Thalapathy Vijay starrer Vaarasudu is all set for a grand release during Sankranti on January 11th. The movie’s Tamil version is titled as Varisu and will have a simultaneous release. The makers have unveiled Vaarasudu trailer yesterday and let’s see how it is.
Vaarasudu Trailer:
The trailer started with a rich family setup and we can see many noted actors in prominent roles. Sarathkumar is playing as an entrepreneur and has three sons Srikanth, Kick Shyam and Thalapathy Vijay. Vijay doesn’t get involved in family business but circumstances forces him to get involved. It remains to be seen how Rashmika Mandanna will be fit into this story. Jayasudha is playing the mother of Vijay.
Vaarasudu seems to follow a regular commercial template and gives the vibes of popular Telugu films including Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavasi and Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramloo.
However, the production values are rich and every frame looks bright. BGM by Thaman is apt and choreography seems decent. The dialogues are written well but one can easily make out that it’s a dubbed film.
Directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, Vaarasudu will have a tough competition from other Sankranti releases Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya. The film will have to get a strong WOM to succeed at the box office.
