Venky Mama had a Decent Second week at the Boxoffice taking it’s overall total to around 33cr Share Worldwide(WW) in its 14 days.
The pre-release buzz was substantially high and the movie took a great start on its first day and then went on to post impressive numbers in the first weekend. It slowed down from Monday and was impacted by new releases Ruler and Prati Roju Pandaage in its second weekend.
However, it managed to stay afloat and took good advantage of the Christmas holidays. It is now at the end of it’s run, but with Ruler disappointing and no notable release until Sankranthi, it will continue to collect and possibly recover the full investment.
The WW theatricals are valued at around 36cr and the ROI(return on investments) is around 95%, which gives it an ABOVE AVERAGE verdict with a decent chance to emerge as HIT by the end of it’s run.
