Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with Acharya which is being directed by Koratala Siva with Ram Charan playing a crucial role in the film.
Chiru’s next film is with Saaho fame Sujeeth which is a Telugu remake of Malayalam superhit Lucifer starring Mohanlal. Lucifer stars Prithvi Raj in a crucial role. There have been reports of various stars playing the role in Telugu remake but nothing got finalized.
Now the latest buzz is that Vijay Deverakonda has been roped in for the role. However, there is no official confirmation on the news yet. The actor is currently working on the film Fighter under the direction of Puri Jagannadh.
The remake was initially expected to go onto floors at the end of the year based on how the COVID19 pandemic situation eases in the country.
It remains to be seen whether the reports of Vijay Deverakonda starring in Acharya are accurate and if so it would be nice to see the duo sharing the screen space together
