NTR Mahanayakudu, part II of the biopic series, has completed its principal shoot last week and most of the post-production works have also been wrapped up.
There’s still no clarity on the Release Date. Originally slated to come out on the 8th of February, the date was first postponed to 14th of February and then to 22nd.
The makers haven’t come out with a statement yet and promotions also haven’t started yet. So, the possibility of the movie releasing this month is very low.
However, according to the latest buzz, the producers of NTR Mahanayakudu are still eyeing the 22nd February slot but some distributors have requested to push it to March 1st. An official announcement is expected soon.
The failure of NTR Kathanayakudu has played a huge role in the tentativeness. The makers went back to the drawing board and shot a few additional scenes to add value to the sequel. A new trailer too will be cut that includes these scenes.
NTR Mahanayakudu has Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead and is a combined production of NBK Films, Varaahi Productions, and Vibri Media.
