Nithiin has confirmed that he will be doing Andhadhun Telugu remake, a small Bollywood film which released in 2018 and turned out to be a massive hit.
Earlier Sudhakar Reddy, father of Nithiin had bagged the Andhadhun Telugu remake rights for a fancy price. Since then there was a strong buzz that Nithin will be playing Ayushman Khurana’s role.
Even the names of the directors like Harish Shankar and Ramesh Varma cropped up, but Merlapaka Gandhi bagged the opportunity. Gandhi is known for his films Venkatadri Express and Express Raja.
The Launch event of the film happened a few days back. The Team are yet to finalise the other cast and crew details. Shoot will kick start this summer 2020.
Andhadhun starring Ayushman Khurana and Radhika Apte in lead roles was directed by Sriram Raghavan. Made with a small budget the movie turned out to be a huge blockbuster.
The movie was critically acclaimed and has received many awards, including the National award for best actor.
