Prasanth Varma’s Awe was an inspiring story and managed to impress the critics and audiences alike. It’s now time for Awe 2.
After the movie’s success, the filmmaker announced a few months back that he would make a sequel. However, the director confirmed earlier this week that the script work was done, but he couldn’t find a producer.

It was disappointing to hear that a director who made two successful movies couldn’t find a producer to match his vision. However, there’s some good news for the fans.
Prasanth Varma tweeted earlier in the day that Awe 2 is very much on and he will begin the shoot once he wraps up his current commitments. It seems the Kalki director has managed to find a producer. Here is the tweet:

Awe and Kalki are impressive movies and the writing/screenplay is one of the best in recent times and it’s sad to see the director toil so hard to find a producer. Anyways, he finally managed to find a backer and it remains to be seen how will star in Awe 2.
