Kalyan Ram has scored a solid hit in the form Bimbisara last year. The film has managed to pull audience to theaters during COVID times. The makers have also announced a sequel to the film then. The fantasy drama had made its OTT debut on Zee5 and got decent views.
The time travel film has recently premiered on Zee Telugu. The latest news is that the movie got a solid TRP of 11.5. This is a great TRP considering the OTT era where most of the audience prefer to watch the film whenever it is available on any OTT platform.
Bimbisara was directed by debutant Vassishta and features Kalyan Ram, Catherine Tresa, and Samyuktha Menon in lead roles. Srinivasa Reddy, Brahmaji and Vennela Kishore are also part of the star cast. The movie was bankrolled by Kalyan Ram under NTR Arts banner. Keeravani has composed the music.
The Nandamuri actor will next be seen in Amigos directed by Rajendra Reddy and features Ashika Ranganath as the female lead. The teaser of the film was impressive and there are decent expectations on the film which is based on doppelganger concept. Kalyan Ram is also working for Devil which is currently in shooting stage.
