Ram Charan who has scored a Huge Blockbuster with ‘Rangasthalam’ is teaming up with Boyapati Srinu for an action entertainer.
The movie is expected to hit the screens on January 11th on the eve of Sankranthi and will it out with NTR Biopic and F2(Fun and Frustration) at the Boxoffice.
However, the competition isn’t stopping the Distributors from quoting big prices for RC12. Few days back, it was reported that UV creations have bagged the Nizam rights for a big price and now the latest buzz is that the Ceeded rights of the movie has been sold for 14crores.
The producer has managed to bag a huge deal considering that Rangasthalam collected around the 17cr mark in Ceeded and there have only been 4 movies so far in the Telugu film industry which have gone past the 14cr mark in Ceeded.
However, given Boyapati’s mass following and Ram Charan coming off a Non-Baahubali record grosser, the price is certainly justified. The makers have reportedly valued AP/TG theatricals at around 75cr.
Currently, the climax sequences are being canned in Hyderabad and the team are expected to leave for Europe to shoot songs. The talkie part is expected to be completed by July end.
With a working title of RC12, the movie stars Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Vivek Oberoi and Mahesh Manjrekar. It is being directed by Boyapati Srinu, and produced by DVV Danayya on DVV Entertainments Banner. Music from DSP.
