It is known that Megastar Chiranjeevi will be doing Telugu version of Malayalam superhit Lucifer which starred Mohanlal in the lead role.
It was earlier announced that Saaho fame Sujeeth will direct the film. There have been reports that Sujeeth is making some changes to the script to match the taste of the Telugu audience.
According to reports, the director has narrated the updated script to Chiranjeevi and the megastar is reportedly not happy with Sujeeth’s version. Buzz is that Megastar is now thinking to replace the director with his favourite V V Vinayak. However there is no official announcement yet.
Megastar and Vinayak combo has earlier scored solid hits when they went for a remake of films such as Tagore and Khaidi No 150 etc. It remains to be seen whether Chiru will vote for Vinayak or he will continue with Sujeeth.
Megastar is currently busy with Acharya which is being directed by Koratala Siva. After wrapping up this project he would soon join in Lucifer remake.
