The news of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s return to acting took everyone by a pleasant surprise. Naturally, offers came pouring in his way and with each announcement, excitement levels too went up.
We had announced here that the actor will soon be working under the able direction of Koratala Siva. Set in a political context, which is certainly the director’s forte, the movie is supposed to go on floors in summer.
Chiranjeevi is currently busy with the grand project, perhaps the most expensive of his career, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. To essay the titular role of the freedom hero Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the actor went through certain physical changes and this made him put on a few extra kilos.
Koratala Siva, on the other hand, is keen on having a particular look for Chiranjeevi in his film and this would require the actor to lose the extra weight he has gained.
As a solution, Koratala Siva has been advised to go ahead and shoot the scenes that would not feature Chiru. Siva is now busy with wrapping up the audition process so that things could begin soon and the production be underway.
‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ is being directed by Surender Reddy with Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi’s son and fellow actor bankrolling it under the banner ‘Konidela Productions’.
