Ace producer Dil Raju is doing back to back films with stars from South and North India. His recent film Varisu which is dubbed into Telugu as Vaarasudu was released on Sankranti and garnered mixed responses. The producer had high expectations on Vijay starrer but the film failed to impress the majority.
In a recent interview, the star producer has announced a new project titled Ravanam. He went on to say that it will be made on a massive scale with high VFX. The project will be directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame. The other cast and crew details will be unveiled soon. The director is currently working with Prabhas for Salaar and will be next working with NTR for NTR31.
Dil Raju is currently bankrolling RC15 which is directed by Shankar and features Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The film will reportedly release in the second half of 2023. There have been reports that Dil Raju has recently paid an advance to KGF star Yash for a film. It remains to be seen whether it is actually for Ravanam.
The ace producer has faced back to back failures at the boxoffice in 2022. It remains to be seen whether he will score solid hits at the boxoffice this year.
