HIT Movie Review

STORY: Vikram(Vishwak Sen) is an investigative cop who is very good at solving crimes but he suffers from his painful past memories. The story takes a turn when a young lady goes missing on a highway.

It becomes even more intensive when Vikram’s girlfriend Neha (Ruhani Sharma) goes missing in the same way as the earlier young lady. How Vikram solves these interlinked cases and whether he can save his girlfriend forms the rest of the story.

PERFORMANCES: Vishwak Sen has nailed it. His performance as an investigative cop was top notch. Ruhani Sharma has justified the role given to her. Murali Sharma performed well in a brief role given to him. Hari Teja was decent in her role. Bhanu Chander was seen after a gap as a higher official cop and he was neat in his role.

TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT: Director Sailesh Kolanu has done an excellent job by narrating the story well. Especially the detailing in the investigation scenes was quite engaging. The suspense was carried out until the end of the film.

Songs are just OK, but those are not needed in these films. BGM though is a huge asset to the film. Cinematography is decent and Editing is alright. The camera work is good. Dialogues and Production values are good.

PLUS POINTS:

  • Vishwak Sen
  • Investigative scenes
  • BGM

MINUS POINTS:

  • Lagging Narration
  • Crime motive is not as convincing

VERDICT: HIT is an impressive thriller that has some very good investigative moments throughout the film. Though the narration seems a bit lagging at times it keeps you engaged till the last frame.
