Kamal Haasan has delivered a huge blockbuster with Vikram last year. The audience were thrilled with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial. The director has created a new cinematic universe and there are already huge expectations on the sequel to Vikram. It is a known fact that Kamal Haasan will be next seen in Indian 2.
We all know that shooting of the film got delayed multiple times and at a point of time, there were rumours that the project is shelved . However, after the stupendous success of Vikram, the makers of Indian 2 have put the film back in limelight.
Meanwhile, Shankar has moved on to direct another film which is tentatively titled RC15 starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in lead roles. Now the director is reportedly juggling between RC15 and Indian2.
The latest buzz is that Indian 2 shoot will resume from January 22nd in Andhra Pradesh. The makers are reportedly in plans to wrap up the entire shoot by April and release the film sometime in 2023.
Directed by Shankar, Indian 2 features Kamal Haasan, Kajal Agarwal and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. Anirudh Ravinchander is composing the music and the social drama is being jointly bankrolled by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies.
