Ram Charan has scored a solid hit with RRR last year. He shot to fame worldwide with his Alluri Sitaramaraju role. There are huge expectations on his upcoming films especially after RRR won the Golden Globe award in best original song category. Here is the update on his upcoming film RC16.
There were reports that Ram Charan will be collaborating with Gowtam Tinnanuri after Shankar’s film but it never materialized. Gowtam Tinnanuri is now working with Vijay Devarakonda for his next which is tentatively titled VD12. Surprisingly, the RRR star has okayed a script from Buchi Babu Sana and an official announcement was also made recently. The director has scored a decent hit with his debut film Uppena.
The film will reportedly kickstart the shoot by end of June. Satish Kilaru will bankroll this project. Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar writings will jointly present the tentatively titled RC16.
RC15 is in shooting stage and the makers are in plans to wrap up the entire shoot by May end. The film features Kiara Advani as the female lead and has many supporting characters from south. Dil Raju is producing this political thriller which has music from Thaman. The film will release sometime in second half this year.
