Natural Star Nani who is known to choose different scripts to entertain the audience has recently started shooting for ‘Jersey’ under the direction of ‘Malli Rava’ fame Gautam Tinnanuri.
Jersey is an intense sports drama and the shooting of the film is currently underway. Here is an interesting update on the shoot.
As per the latest buzz, the shoot is happening at a brisk pace and the team are working non-stop and Nani too is fully focusing on this movie.
The team are currently shooting cricket match scenes and trying to wrap up the movie ASAP. Nani went through the intensive Cricket Coaching to add the perfection to his character.
He is playing a middle-aged cricket player called Arjun. Shraddha Srinath is playing a female lead in this movie. Gautam Tinnanuri who directed Malli Rava earlier received huge critical applause though commercially it was an average flick. His sensibilities and dialogues were a huge plus and definitely suits Nani’s body language.
Nani is looking for a much needed hit as his last 2 movies were commercial failures at the box-office. Another interesting thing is Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the music for this movie which will definitely add additional Buzz. His recent Telugu flick Agnyathavasi though musically was good, but a disaster at the box-office.
