Rajinikanth’s much-awaited Kaala is all set to hit theaters worldwide on June 7th. The Movie was actually planned for April 27th but due to the unexpected strike by Tamil Film Industry, it was postponed.
Now that it has got a release date on June 7th, the pre-release business is in full swing and it is being reported that Star Network has acquired the Satellite rights for a whopping price of around 75 crores.
The channel has acquired the rights for Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam versions. However, the satellite price of Kaala is still short of Robo 2.0 whose all India rights were sold for around 110 crores.
Kaala is directed by Kabali Fame Pa Ranjith. Kabali took a record-breaking opening at the Boxoffice and shattered all South-Indian records, however it ultimately struggled at the ticket window owing to poor WOM.
The Teaser which released a few months back has already created a sensation and Rajni Fans are keenly waiting for the release. Lyca Productions bagged the Theatrical rights to release in India.
Kaala is directed by Pa Ranjit. produced by Dhanush under his own banner Wunderbar Films. Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani, Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil are playing key roles in this movie. Music scored by Santosh Narayanan. Releasing worldwide on June 7th.
