There is no doubt that KGF franchise films have elevated Kannada cinema to another level. The duo of Yash and Prashanth Neel shot to fame with these films and there are huge expectations on their next films. It is a known fact that the director is currently busy with Salaar featuring Prabhas as the main lead.
It’s been more than six months since KGF2 released but Yash did not announce his next project yet. The latest buzz is that KGF actor will do a cameo in Salaar. However, there is no official announcement yet.
There were a lot of rumours that Prashanth is going to create a universe by linking Salaar with KGF. Yash becoming part of Salaar might be linked to those rumours but we need to wait for few more days to get clarity.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar features Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jagapathi Babu are playing the key roles. Vijay Kirgandur is bankrolling this action thriller under Hombale films banner while music is being composed by Ravi Basrur. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on 28th September 2023.
If Prashanth manages to the star duo together then there will be fireworks for sure!
