KGF which released back in 2018 turned out to be a Huge Blockbuster and put the Kannada cinema on the map.
KGF 2 is one of the most awaited films in India. The shooting is almost done and the makers initially planned to release the film in the second half of the year, but with the COVID19 situation, it’s not clear when the film will hit theaters.
The movie is now in the news for a different reason. KGF Television Premiere in Telugu is scheduled on Sunday 5th July at 5.30 PM on Star Maa. Now everyone’s eyes are on the TRP ratings that KGF can get on its TV premiere.
Even Yash has involved in publicizing the TV premiere. With the current lockdown situations, now KGF has a huge scope to beat all the previous TRP records.
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru directed by Anil Ravipudi holds the record in Telugu for TRP ratings with 23.04 TRP. Rajamouli’s Baahubali2 is next to Mahesh’s film with 22.7 TRP. Now it remains to be seen whether KGF will beat Mahesh’s record in TRP ratings.
