Krack Movie Review

STORY:

Veera Shankar(Ravi Teja) is a daring and dashing cop who punishes the criminals violently. He gets fame after accidentally arresting a most wanted terrorist. Veera Shankar gets transferred to Ongole and eventually investigates a murder with the prime suspect being Katari Krishna(Samuthirakani). How Shankar solves the case forms the rest of the story.

PERFORMANCES:

Ravi Teja has nailed it, his performance as a dashing police officer was top notch. His energy levels are reminiscence of him from a few years back and one can surely say that the Mass Maharaja is back to his best. Samuthirakani puts in an excellent performance in a negative role and steals the show whenever he is on screen.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has also put in a performance to remember. Ravi Shankar’s screen presence was short but he has done well and his comedy scenes were hilarious. Shruthi Haasan looks good and justifies the role given to her. Other characters were brief.

TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT:

Director Gopichand Malineni has done an excellent job throughout the film. Though the story seems routine he presented it very well with a gripping screenplay. Action sequences were composed well in the film.

Production values are good and each frame looks rich. Songs are decent, but the BGM by Thaman is top notch(gives vibes of Simmba). Cinematography is decent and Editing was proper. Dialogues were good.

PLUS POINTS:

  • Ravi Teja
  • Screenplay
  • BGM

MINUS POINTS:

  • Routine story
  • Songs

VERDICT:

Krack is a mass entertainer that has some gripping moments throughout. Though the story seems routine, it keeps you on the edge of the seat with its thrilling screenplay. The performances of the lead actors are top-notch and the film will be an eye feast for mass audiences. If you like to see vintage Ravi Teja in full action then you shouldn’t miss this.
